Why this Exhibit?
Beginning in the 17th century, families in Naples welcomed
friends and neighbors into their homes each December to share
beloved crèches they had made and collected. In many countries
this practice lives on. Echoing this tradition, we open the
doors of our church to invite all to celebrate the birth of
Jesus Christ and answer His call, "Come unto me."
It is this spirit of joy, love and testimony that prompted
our inaugural Christmas Crèche Exhibit in 1988.
